Lolina

Lolina is an Estonian musician active in the electronic and digital music scene, known for her experimental spirit and for her earlier projects under the name Inga Copeland. Between 2009 and 2013, she was a member of the band Hype Williams, collaborating with Dean Blunt on music, video, and performance projects. Her debut solo album, Because I’m Worth It (2014), marked the beginning of her career as an independent artist.

Under the Lolina project, she focuses on digital composition, releasing works such as Live in Paris (2016), a full video album, and The Smoke (2018). In her live performances, she uses DJ equipment to create loops, scratches, and manipulated recordings, developing an improvisational cut-up style also heard in Live in Geneva, Who is experimental music? (2019), and Fast Fashion (2021, Deathbomb Arc). Her three-part radio residency on NTS, broadcast in November 2020, further cemented her experimental approach.

With Face The Music (2022) and Unrecognisable (2024), both released on Relaxin Records, Lolina develops a musical language that blends electronic music, experimental pop, and ’70s prog influences. In her live shows, she embodies the album’s characters, Paris Hell and Geneva Heat, delivering immersive and conceptually rich performances.

For Musica in Prossimità she will include a sofa, computer, effects pedals, bass guitar and microphone.
