Zebra Katz, nato a West Palm Beach, Florida, con il nome di Ojay Morgan, è un rapper multidisciplinare, producer, cantautore e performer giamaicano-americano.
La sua carriera è decollata nel 2012 quando il fashion designer Rick Owens ha scelto di mettere in loop la sua traccia ‘Ima Read’ durante la Paris Fashion Week. Il singolo è diventato virale grazie all’entusiasmo nei circoli della moda, insieme ad un articolo sul New York Times, e ha aperto a Morgan la strada per un'ampia tournée in Europa, Nord America e oltre per i successivi cinque anni. Morgan’s career took off in 2012 when fashion designer Rick Owens featured Zebra Katz's track, ‘Ima Read,’ on loop at Paris Fashion Week.
The single went viral due to the excitement in the fashion circles, along with a write-up in The New York Times, and opened up a path for Morgan to tour widely around Europe, North America and beyond for the next five years.
Throughout his whole career, Morgan has performed in a wide array of venues from underground parties to established music festivals and arts institutions, such as SXSW, Lollapalooza, the New Museum in New York, MoMA PS1, Brooklyn Museum, and Art Basel in Switzerland.
